TANYA BURR LIP GLOSS COLLECTION & SWATCHES

Tanya Burr, Tanya Burr Cosmetics, Tanya Burr Lipglosses, Swatches, Enchanted Forest, Picnic In The Park, Berry Picking, Vampire Kiss, Mistletoe Kisses, First Date, Chic, Afternoon Tea, Exotic Island, Heart Skipped A Beat, Just Peachy, Aurora, I Found Nemo, Tanya Burr Beauty, Tanya Burr Lipgloss Swatches

I've featured quite a few lip glosses from Tanya's range on my blog before but I decided to pool them all together and do a Tanya Burr Lip Gloss Collection! I absolutely love these lip glosses and since I took these swatches I've added two more to my collection in the shades Lunch Date and Daydream and I absolutely LOVE those two, they're the perfect everyday nude shades. I become such a lip gloss person in the Spring and Summer because it's just easier to throw on and it goes with every single make up look, these lip glosses are really moisturising and they last quite a while on me it's about 4-5 hours before it's totally gone off my lips. They retail at £6.99 but in my opinion they're totally worth it and they smell SO good! It's always a good thing in my books if something has a nice smell to it.. Although it does make you want to eat it..

L'OREAL PARIS BRONZER

I've had this bronzer for months now and I got it when Zoe (Zoella) mentioned it on one of her videos ages ago so I decided to give it a go but at the same time I was pretty crap at contouring so...bare that part in mind. The first time I used this bronzer I used way too much and it just looked ridiculous because I have pale skin so it just looked like I'd used a wrong colour powder so naturally I gave up with this one and it went back into the drawer. I started out contouring with the Collection Bronze Glow (review here) to get the hang of it more and I slowly got there and I seen a video from Megs Boutique where she used the Clinique Chubby Stick Bronzer and drew a line on the parts where she was going to contour so I tried it out for myself but switched it up a bit. I took the Pointed Foundation Brush from Real Techniques which is in their Core Collection and I took the bronzer on that, drew a line where I was going to put the contour, (cheek, jawline, nose and top of the forehead) and then I took the Buffing Brush (also from the Core Collection) and blended it all in and it worked like a dream. When I didn't use contouring before my face looked so pale and I had no colour whatsoever and I really didn't like it but now with this beauty I actually have some colour on my face and it doesn't look ridiculous it's just a subtle contour look but it can be built up for a full on contour if that's what you prefer. It lasts all day on me and I never seem to see it fading. I actually don't know how I've done my make-up so long without having contour because I'm pale as a ghost so it looked so weird before but now it's so nice to finally have some added colour to my face!

APRIL FAVOURITES

How are we already in May?! It's crazy, this year is flying by! Anyway I've got another monthly favourites for you today. There's a few things I've been loving in April and first up is a MAC Lipstick in the shade Rebel. I completely forgot I even had this one and I hadn't used it in SO long so I popped it on one day and fell in love. It actually looks darker than it is, once applied to lips it's quite a bright purple/plum shade. It's a satin finish which is probably my other favourite finish along with Matte. It looks so nice with my skin tone so I'm pretty glad I picked this one up!

Next up is the Spring Break Palette from MUA. I've said it before but I absolutely love the palettes from MUA they're totally worth the money and they're such good value. You get a total of 12 shades for just £4. I've been using the shades Aurora and Amber to create an everyday orange toned smokey eye which I love, I'll top it off with liquid liner across the top and pencil on my waterline. I literally cannot go without wearing eyeliner on my bottom lash line it just makes my eyes stand out so much more! The shades in this palette are super pigmented and they last all day without a primer. What more could you want?!

I've been slowly getting the hang of liquid liner and I've been using the L'Oreal Super Liner Black Lacquer, I really like this one because it's a quite a thin nib which is perfect because I only want a thin line across the top of my lash line but it can also be good if you want a more thicker line. It lasts all day and doesn't flake off either which is definitely a bonus! I just need to get the hang of doing a flick now.. It's not going well!

My last favourite is another lip product and it's from Tanya Burr's beauty range. It's her lipgloss in the shade First Date because it was getting more to Spring I fancied wearing a lip gloss and I do really love this shade, it's not a bright pink at all and suits my skin tone so well, it's a perfect nude pink shade which looks SO nice with a smokey eye!

What have you been loving this month?
